94 reports of anti-social behaviour
THERE have been 94 reports of anti-social behaviour and 111 complaints reported to South Dublin County Council for Rathfarnham, Templeogue, Firhouse and Bohernabreena in 2021 so far.
A statistical analysis report shows the reported anti-social behaviour in respect of council tenanted properties that were reported to the council.
There were four reports of drug activity, seven reports of criminal activity, three reports of joyriding and 28 reports of violence, intimidation and harassment.
There were seven reports of squatters or illegal occupiers reported to the council, eight reports of vandalism and five neighbour disputes, including parking.
There were 11 noise and disturbance incidences reported and eight pets or animal nuisance reports made. The report also showed that there were 469 actions taken by Allocations Support Unit Staff.
The main actions taken included 65 house calls and inspections, 200 interviews held both by phone and formal office, 20 warnings issued and 5 surrenders obtained.
