Accused Tallaght man off to Benidorm

A MAN ACCUSED of public order charges and who is on legal aid is going on holiday to Benidorm, Tallaght Court has heard.

Graham O’Hagan, aged 23, with an address at Cloonmore Avenue, Tallaght, is charged with breaching the peace and resisting Garda Ronan Harris at Belgard Road in Tallaght on July 20, 2016.

O’Hagan’s solicitor, Michael Hennessy, asked Judge McNamara for a short remand to go through the case with his client.

When the remand date was offered, O’Hagan told the court that he would be on holiday in Benidorm.

Judge McNamara commented: “He’s on legal aid and he’s going on holiday to Benidorm.”

Another date was offered and O’Hagan was going to a christening on that date.

Judge McNamara said: “He must be the busiest man in this court.”

She remanded O’Hagan on bail for a month for a plea or a date for hearing.
