Proposed Dublin Bus Strikes have been suspended

Planned strikes at Dublin Bus are expected to be suspended this afternoon, with drivers to be re-balloted on a new pay deal.

Eleven days of strikes were planned for the coming weeks, but after six days of talks in the Workplace Relations Commission, it appears an agreement has been met between unions representing drivers and management at the company.

Discussions continued throughout the night in an attempt to halt strikes, which included this coming Saturday, which would have impacted greatly on those attending the All-Ireland Final Replay.

The content of the agreed deal reached is unknown at this time.
