Arrests connected to mobile phone robberies made in Clondalkin and Tallaght

As part of Operation Thor, Gardaí arrested four persons, three men and one woman aged between 19 and 27 years of age, on Tuesday morning in connection with the theft of mobile phones from mobile phone stores nationwide.
A number of searches were carried out in Tallaght, Clondalkin and Portarlington, Co. Laois and a number of suspected stolen mobile phones were recovered.
Those arrested were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, at Lucan and Leixlip Garda Stations.
All four were charged as part of the investigation and appeared before a sitting of Dublin District Court this morning.
