Arrests made following aggravated burglary in Terenure

Gardaí have arrested two people following aggravated burglary in Terenure yesterday, Wednesday 13.

A 24-year-old female and 27-year-old male, both masked, gained entry to the house at 2am on Wednesday 13 by smashing a downstairs window. The injured male occupant was taken to an ATM during the night to withdraw money and was later again taken from his residence at 10am to a bank to withdraw a substantial amount of cash.

 

Gardaí were alerted to the incident and following an investigation a man and woman were arrested after a search of a house.

The injured male suffered a minor facial injury during the incident. Gardí have confirmed that a substantial amount of cash has already been recovered. The investigation is on-going.
