Ballyfermot De La Salle GAA club 300k Challenge

GAA players from Ballyfermot are on the road to Kerry this Saturday – for a ‘stay at home’ 300k run in aid of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.

Members of Ballyfermot De La Salle GAA club will walk or run between 5km and 10km at their own home, adhering to social distancing and HSE and government guidelines during the challenge.

The event will take place in and around the Ballyfermot area on Saturday, May 2, and will start from 12pm.

According to the club, donations will go towards PPE (personal protection equipment) for hospice staff.

A target of €2k has already been smashed on a fundraising page, and currently has raised over €3k (as of Thursday lunchtime).
