The case had previously been put back for Roe to talk to a solicitor.

Roe, aged 25, with an address at The Commons, Duleek, County Meath, is charged with stealing two bicycles worth €800 each from Allied Logistics, Second Avenue, Cookstown, Tallaght, on December 5, 2017.

Judge Murphy asked Roe if she had consulted with a solicitor.

Ms Roe said she had consulted with solicitor Aonghus McCarthy. She said she had gone through the evidence in the case and was pleading not guilty.

Judge Murphy put Roe on her election. Roe told the judge that she was electing to have her case tried in the District Court.

Presenting Sergeant Eithne Madden said there were three prosecution witnesses in the case. She said it would take 45 minutes to hear.

Judge Murphy remanded Roe on bail to a date in May for hearing.
