Best of brands at affordable prices bring in the customers

ESTABLISHING a salon in a saturated market, a business needs to stand out – something Couture Beauty in Tallaght have achieved.
Started by Clondalkin woman Danielle Millea in 2011, the salon has grown from humble beginnings with just two staff, to employing eight, winning Business of the Year at last year’s Tallaght Person of the Year awards.
The colourful premises on Main Street entices passers-by in for enquiries, but everything has to be done by appointment due to high demand, according to owner Danielle.
“It is quite busy, appointment only. We are open late until 9pm from Tuesday to Friday, and evenings are always mental,” said Danielle.
Daniella started the business aged 25, turning 30 later this year, but her youth didn’t act as a deterrent in terms of business development.
The former St Killian’s student with 11 years experience in the beauty industry, has worked hard to provide customers with a one-stop shop for all their beauty needs.
She continued: “There are lots of salons in Tallaght, so you need to stand out. The reason why the business has gone from strength to strength, and employed more staff, is that it has a good name.
“We cater for everybody and use the highest salon brands at affordable prices. We’re known for our HD brows which are very popular.”
Couture pride themselves on consistently offering a wide range of new treatments, and November is no different, with a brand new Yonka facial treatment set to be launched on November 12.
Along with other popular features such as the Bellamianta tan, hot oil massages, and Couture’s signature pedicures for €35, Danielle and her highly trained staff have all the expertise to pamper their clients.
With winter upon us, Daniella recommends it is an excellent time for a facial to combat the harsh change in weather temperature.
“They target blemished skin and remove pigments,” she said.
