Body of teenager found in Ballycullen

TRAGEDY on Wednesday night following the discovery of a teenager’s body in the Ballycullen area.
The Echo understands a woman out walking, found the body of a 15-year-old male, who is from the Tallaght area.
Emergency services were called and the boy was taken by ambulance to the Children’s Hospital Crumlin, but sadly he passed away.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Garda responded to reports of a male youth found unresponsive in the Ballycullen area, on May 20 at approximately 11pm.
“Gardai and emergency services attended the scene. The male youth was taken to The Children’s Hospital, Crumlin by ambulance where he later passed away.
“A post-mortem is due to take place, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation. The local coroner has been notified.”
