Brown’s Barn Bar to be changed to specialist bike shop

SOUTH Dublin County Council has granted permission for Brown’s Barn Bar and Kitchen in Citywest to be changed into a specialist bicycle shop.
The application, lodged by Specialized Bicycle Components Ire Ltd, outlines plans for the bicycle shop to include bicycle repair and servicing workshops and custom fitting facilities.
The proposed development will comprise of a ground floor area of 699.6 sq m and a first-floor area of 568.9 sq m, including customer and staff facilities.
It is also noted in the application that the Brown’s Barn bar and restaurant are listed as protected structures.
Permission was granted on June 19.
