BusConnects community forum meetings to take place

COMMUNITY forum meetings for the BusConnects Core Bus Corridor Project are taking place over the next couple of weeks in South Dublin County.

The project involves the implementation of continuous bus lanes along 16 key radial bus corridors around Dublin.

The forums are made up of representatives from resident and community associations, disability and special interest groups and business organisations within each corridor, along with public representatives.

On Monday, February 11, a community forum meeting for the Rathfarnham to the city centre corridor, takes place at the Hilton Hotel, Charlemont Place, Dublin 2 at 6.30pm.

On Tuesday, February 12, the Clondalkin/Drimnagh/Greenhills to the city centre forum meets up at Our Lady’s Hall, Mourne Road, Drimnagh at 6.30pm.

On Wednesday, February 13, the Liffey Valley to the city centre forum meets at the Hilton Hotel, Kilmainham at 6.30pm.

On Monday, February 18, the Kimmage to the city centre corridor meets at the Hilton on Charlemont Place at 6.30pm.

On Monday, February 25, the Tallaght to the city centre forum meets at St Mary’s Rugby Football Club on Templeville Road, at 6.30pm.

In addition to community forum meetings, the National Transport Agency will announce details for information events open to the general public, scheduled to take place in the coming weeks.
