Call for planting of mature trees on Village Green for ‘wow’ factor

A “wow factor” is needed to be brought to the Village Green in Lucan and calls have been made to plant more mature trees to help improve the look of the area.

The works in Lucan village are nearing completion according to the council, with a mid-April date pegged as the target, and councillors have called for the planting on the green to be something that helps the new aspect of the area to stand out.
