Calls for road ban on sulkies following fatal horse collision in Tallaght
An animal welfare organisation has called for a ban of sulkies on roads after a young horse died after a collision involving a sulky and a stationery car at the Cheeverstown Luas stop on Thursday.
The young horse, dubbed Maria by My Lovely Horse Rescue, had collided with a parked car in the stop’s car park in Tallaght and was put to sleep shortly after due to her injuries.
