Check Yourself: ‘It’s not just boobies, balls need checking too’

The Irish Cancer Society, in partnership with Relay for Life Kilkenny and the Marie Keating Foundation, have today launched the ‘Check Yourself’ campaign.

Using a newly created animated video, the purpose of the new campaign is to educate people, both young and old, about the benefits of getting into the habit of performing self-checks for signs of cancer.

“It’s not just boobies, balls need checking too” is just one of the messages delivered in the animated video.

It is a lively, fun and descriptive film, featuring cancer survivors from Kilkenny who volunteered their time to being animated to help spread this important message.
