Clash between 5k race and start of Mass causes problems
A lady in her 70s was going to “climb over” to get to Mass on St Patrick’s Day as a misunderstanding between a Tallaght church and the Council parade organisers led to confusion.
“We’re very sorry that some people were denied access to our church for the 12 o’clock Mass on St Patrick’s Day,” read the St Mary’s Dominican Priory’s newsletter on Sunday, March 23.
