Clondalkin brothers charged with stealing €6k worth of tools

THREE BROTHERS charged with stealing €6,000 worth of tools from builders at a development in West Dublin have been sent forward for trial to the Circuit Court.

Martin, Joseph and Eddie Stokes were before Judge David McHugh in Blanchardstown District Court for service of their book of evidence.

Martin, aged 24, Joseph, aged 18, and Eddie, aged 22, all with an address at Oldcastle Park Green, Bawnogue, Clondalkin, are all charged with the theft of tools worth €6,000 from Phoenix Park Racecourse Apartments, Castleknock , on October 7, 2016.

They are also charged with possession of items for use in burglary at the Castleknock Road, Castleknock, also on October 7, 2016.

A solicitor for the DPP told Judge McHugh that the book was ready to be served.

She said the DPP had consented for the three accused to be sent forward for trial to the present sitting of Dublin Circuit Court.

Judge McHugh sent the Stokes forward on bail to the present sitting of Dublin Circuit Court.
