Clondalkin gardai renew appeal for witnesses to fatal road accident in Lucan
Gardai have renewed their appeal for witnesses in relation to a fatal road accident in the Lucan area on January 17, 2017.
Ballyfermot man Martin Finn (60) died when he was struck by a vehicle on the Newcastle Road (12th Lock).
His daughter, who Martin pushed out of the way of the oncoming SUV, was seriously injured.
In a statement issued by gardai tonight, a garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí in Clondalkin are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a 4×4 vehicle on the R120 Newcastle (12th Lock) Road at approximately 9pm on Tuesday night 17th January, 2017.
“Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have information in relation to this collision or who may be able to assist them, to contact Clondalkin Garda Station 01 6667600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.”
