Clondalkin man charged with robbing pharmacy

A MAN charged with robbing a Clondalkin pharmacy has been sent forward for trial to the Circuit Court.

Patrick Fennell was before Judge David McHugh in Blanchardstown Court for service of his book of evidence.

Fennell, aged 43, with an address at Greenfort Avenue, Clondalkin, is charged with robbing €200 cash and €50 worth of medicine from Green Park Pharmacy, Clondalkin, on February 4, 2017. 

He is also charged with producing a hammer during the robbery at Green Park Pharmacy on the above date. The DPP had previously directed trial on indictment.

Fennell was before Judge David  McHugh for service of his book of evidence.

A Solicitor for the DPP told the Judge that the book was ready to be served.  She said Fennell could be sent forward for trial to the present sitting of Dublin Circuit Court.

Judge McHugh sent Fennell forward on bail to the present sitting of the Circuit Court.
