Communiversity: Would you like to experience college in your own community?

WOULD you like to get a sense of what college is like?

North Clondalkin Library is hosting a free 17-week, part-time programme called Communiversity, which starts this October.

A Personal and Development Community Development Programme, Communiversity provides people with an opportunity to experience college lectures in their own community – which may be helpful for anyone considering Third Level education.

With a focus on confidence building and learning discovery, the programme is collaborative and fun, with no assignments or exams.

The programme has four modules, which will each last four weeks – Politics, Local History, Classics and Criminology.

A partnership between Maynooth University, South Dublin County Partnership and North Clondalkin Library, Communiversity runs once a week, every Monday, from 10am to 12.30pm.

An introduction to the programme was held on Monday, October 3, but there’s still plenty of time for new participants to take part.
