Construction on new 28-bay renal dialysis unit and four-theatre day surgery is on schedule
CONSTRUCTION work on the development of a new 28-bay renal dialysis unit and a four-theatre day surgery fit-out in Tallaght University Hospital is on schedule, according to the HSE.
The new renal dialysis unit is expected to be complete this September, and will be operational by the last quarter of this year.
The four-theatre day surgery fit-out is expected to be complete this October, and will be fully operational by January 2021.
These updates were confirmed at a recent meeting of the Mid-Leinster Regional Health Forum, in response to a question submitted by Fianna Fáil councillor for Tallaght Central, Charlie O’Connor.
