Coronavirus: 2074 new cases confirmed

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 2,074* confirmed cases of COVID-19.  

According to information provided through the Department of Health’s Twitter account 2,074 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 are being reported as of midnight, Friday, August 13.

As of 8am today, 229 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 43 are in ICU.
