Coronavirus: South Dublin County Council measures

FOLLOWING the Government’s introduction of additional measures to protect citizens by delaying the spread of COVID-19, South Dublin County Council has closed a number of public buildings.

In keeping with Government guidance, the council has limited public interaction by cancelling all scheduled events and public meetings.

Council offices remain open however, members of the public have been asked to contact the council through its online customer form HERE or by calling 4149000 if possible.

The following measures are also in place until March 29 –

-All public libraries are closed

-Council-owned facilities (excluding the café element) are closed, including Civic Theatre, Rua Red and the Clondalkin Round Tower

-Public parks remain open but all park events will be cancelled. 

-While public parks remain open, all playgrounds will be closed from Saturday, March 14.

-The council is not in a position to facilitate group meetings with the public or stakeholders 

The council has asked the public to keep up to date with all public health advice.
