Delays on M50 due to collisions both northbound and southbound

Commuters on the M50 can expect delays this evening due to two collisions on the carriageway.  

The AA reports that emergency services are at the scene of a crash blocking the right lane of the M50 northbound at J10 Ballymount and drivers will face delays on approach.

Only the left lane is now open on the M50 northbound at J10 Ballymount as emergency services are dealing with a crash. Delays begin back at the J13 in Sandyford.

There is also a collision on the M50 southbound J7 Lucan blocking the right and middle lanes. Delays are building from J6 Blanchardstown.

Motorists have been advised to take care in the area and check for updates via the AA.
