Demand for stricter parking measures after fatality in April

A shortage of parking spaces on Citywest Avenue has caused crashes and a fatality according to a councillor who called for stricter measures.

Councillor Kay Keane (PBP) brought up the issue of illegal parking in the area to South Dublin County Council before and said in February that residents were “renting out their driveways” to people living in the new apartments who had nowhere to park.
