Developer withdraws plans for 241 apartments

A DEVELOPER has withdrawn its plans for the development of 241 apartments on Stocking Avenue in Woodstown.

The plans for the White Pines East SHD development were lodged by Ardstone Homes on March 24 last, before being withdrawn the following day.

The plans included the development of four apartment blocks, ranging in height from two- to six-storeys, and three three-storey duplex blocks.

The apartment units were to consist of 93 one-bed and 148 two-bed units, while provision of 204 car parking spaces and 401 cycle parking spaces also formed part of the plans.

According to the An Bord Pleanála website, the plans were withdrawn by Ardstone on March 25.

Ardstone is the developer behind the White Pines development on Stocking Lane, and the company has also secured planning permission for the development of 590 apartments at the site of the former home of ex-Taoiseach Liam Cosgrave on Scholarstown Road in Knocklyon.
