DFB battle early morning fire at Rathfarnham school

Units from Dolphin’s Barn, Nutgrove and Rathfarnham attended the scene at Scoil Naithi on Stonemasons Way, Ballinteer this morning around 4am.

The scene has now been preserved for a technical examination.

In a message from DFB, they said: “Overnight we had 4 pumps at a school on fire on Stonemasons Way.

“Part of the school has been extensively damaged.”

The school will remain closed for the day.
