DFB battle four vehicle fires in Tallaght, Clondalkin and Lucan

It was a busy night for firefighters from Tallaght Fire Station on Tuesday evening as they dealt with four separate vehicle fires across the community.

Two of the incidents took place in Tallaght, in Tymon North and Mac Uilliam in Jobstown, while the other two happened in Clondalkin, just off Station Road and in the Foxborough estate in Lucan.

A tradesman’s van was engulfed in flames at one of the locations, while the occupants of a house had to be evacuated due to smoke entering the home at another location.

It is not known whether any of the fires are related at this time, and investigations are ongoing.
