DSPCA share heart-breaking story of dumped dog that later died

The DSPCA have shared a story of severe animal cruelty and neglect after a dog was dumped at their base in Rathfarnham where he later died.

The poor dog was tossed away like a piece of rubbish on Sunday, and in a heart-breaking video shared online ‘Ollie’ can be seen looking nervous, frightened and frail.

In a message posted by the DSPCA they said: “It’s do devastating to know that in his short little life he was so badly neglected and unloved.

“We'll never understand but we'll keep rescuing and caring for every abandoned soul that needs us.”
