Dublin Fire Brigade at huge grass fire in Tallaght

Dublin Fire Brigade are currently dealing with a grass fire in the Kiltipper/Ellensborough area of Tallaght this evening.

Two units from Tallaght are currently at the scene dealing with the blaze close to a residential area.

Dublin Fire Brigade have said: “We have Firefighters at reported grass on fire in the Ellensborough/Kiltipper area.

“Vegetation (grass/trees/bushes/gorse and so on) is at extreme risk of fire. Be fire aware while out and about and report suspicious activity to the Gardai”.

Residents in the area are advised to close all windows and smoke is visible throughout the area.
