€8.5 million guide price for Cookstown Cross field

PROPERTY with full planning permission for 208 residential units has gone to market with a guide price of €8.5million.

Known as Cookstown Cross, the Tallaght site is being brought to market by agent Cushman and Wakefield.

The 1.75acre brownfield site obtained planning permission for 208 residential units and commercial space across a seven-storey development.

Planning permission provides for 50 two-bed and four three-bed duplexes along with 154 apartments consisting of 41 studio, 84 one-bed units and 29 two-bed units.

Plans for the scheme also incorporate a concierge, co-working space, lounge, cinema, and gym along with 73 car-parking spots, a café, creche and commercial space.

Located five-minutes away from the Luas red line, Cookstown Cross is just 10km away from Dublin city centre and is immediately served by Tallaght University Hospital and The Square Shopping Centre.

Cookstown is located within the regeneration zone of the Tallaght Local Area Plan, meaning it is earmarked as a location for the creation of further regeneration and employment.

As previously reported in The Echo, €14,58m from the Government’s Urban Regeneration Development Fund “is being invested in the Cookstown and central Tallaght area”.
