SCOTTISH Premiership outfit Inverness Caledonian Thistle have swooped quickly for the services of Bluebell United striker Dean Ebbe.

The Neilstown man, who spent four years with Collinstown FC, has agreed terms with the club who are in desperate need of points in order to lift themselves up off the bed of the Premiership table.

Inverness were quickly impressed with the potential shown by Ebbe who only joined defending Leinster Senior League champions Bluebell at the start of the season before going on trial with the Scottish top flight club, for whom he scored the winner when playing in a match there.

Kevin Carroll, who signed Ebbe for Collinstown from Shamrock Rovers schoolboys, believes he can flourish with his new club saying “He has great footballing ability for such a young lad and I feel he can do well over there.

“It’s a big step up from where he is at the moment, but he has the potential to make it and perhaps even use this move as a stepping stone” he added.

Ebbe helped Collinstown to the Leinster Junior Cup back in 2015 and twice found the back of the net for the Clondalkin side in their Leinster Senior Cup clash with Shamrock Rovers.
