Following their performance the choir members chatted with Echo staff and expressed their delight at the fact that they are one of the chosen charities for The Echo’s first annual fundraiser.

TCSG Choir will be in Dundrum Centre on Dec 1 and The Square Centre on Dec 13 and are inviting the whole community to come and support them as they get you into the Christmas spirit with their beautiful performance of classic and new Christmas Carols.

Based in Trustus House on Main Street, Tallaght, the support group was founded in 2007 and is a place where people touched by cancer and their family and friends can find support in a caring, confidential and welcoming environment.

The services, which are not confined to people living in Tallaght, include counselling, complimentary therapies, information and group meetings on the first Thursday of every month from 8pm to 9.30pm.

Drop-in mornings are also held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 2pm, during which people are free to call in for a chat, arrange an appointment or avail of a listening ear – with the kettle always on the boil.
