TALLAGHT’S Katie McCabe signed a new deal with Arsenal FC before, later in the month, scoring a hat-trick for the Republic of Ireland in their 5-1 victory over Albania in the UEFA Nations League.

Shamrock Rovers celebrated a fourth successive SSE Airtricity Premier Division title after they beat St Patrick’s Athletic 2-0 to take the final step on the road to this season’s crown.

Peamount United completed their march to the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division title following a 2-0 victory over Wexford Youths at Ferrycarrig Park.

It was mission accomplished for Shamrock Rovers Under 19 Women’s team after they beat Shelbourne to secure the National League title, while there was cup delight for both the Rovers Under 15 and Under 17 boys.

There was no joy either for the Firhouse Road club’s senior hurlers as they were pipped in a county final by Na Fianna in the same week that the club secured the Junior B and E Hurling Championship titles.

There was disappointment for Lucan Sarsfields’ senior hurlers as they lost out to Na Fianna in their championship semi-final.

St Mary’s Senior Ladies team beat Cuala 3-6 to 1-3 to complete a double by adding the Cup to the Division 12 League crown they won earlier in the year.

Thomas Davis were denied a spot in the Go Ahead Dublin Senior Football Championship decider after losing out to defending champions, Kilmacud Crokes at Pairc De Burca.

There was more heartbreak for the Kiltipper club as their Junior Camogie team came undone against Naomh Barrog in the County Final in Abbotstown.

The Templeogue club was also pipped by Fingallians in the Go-Ahead Dublin Intermediate Final.

There was, however, plenty for St Jude’s to smile about as their senior hurlers secured their place in the Division Two League decider and also earned promotion back to the top flight.

St Mary’s senior footballers secured promotion back to the top ranks after they overcame Round Towers, Lusk in the Division Two League play-offs.

Lucan Sarsfields secured a 2-10 to 0-11 triumph over Naomh Maur in the Dublin Intermediate Two Camogie Championship title match while Faughs claimed the Dublin Junior Two Camogie Championship crown.
