DUBLIN’S quest for five All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Championship titles in succession was stopped one step short of completion after they slipped to a 0-12 to 1-11 defeat against Meath in the final.
Following her tremendous silver medal win in the Women’s K1 5000m race at ICF Senior Canoe Sprint World Championships in Copenhagen, Jenny Egan was declared The Echo Sports Star of the Month for September.
