
#EchoSportAwards All of the winners from tonight’s awards
The eighth Echo Sports Awards took place tonight in the Green Isle Hotel, with athletes from across the community being recognised for their achievements.
The awards, run in conjunction with the Green Isle Hotel and the South Dublin County Sports Partnership, saw sports people and teams from 15 different codes celebrated.

Among the winners on the night were Olympic silver medallist Annalise Murphy, who was named our Echo Sports Star of the Year, while Ballyboden St Enda’s Senior Footballers were named as the Echo Sports Team of the year.

Elsewhere, Tallaght native Sean O’Brien won the Volunteer of the year award after bringing the prestigious WUKF World Karate Championships to Citywest.

Templeogue Basketball Senior Men’s coach Mark Keenan scooped the Voach of the Year Award, while the Club Development accolade went to Esker Celtic
