Exhibition of BCFE students work at Ballyfermot Library

AN END of year art exhibition is currently running at Ballyfermot Library.

Students from the first year of the Higher National Diploma courses in Illustration and Graphic Design at Ballyfermot College of Further Education, are currently exhibiting their work.

This end-of-year showcase features a range of final artwork in a variety of traditional and digital media and celebrates the different styles, techniques, and media used by each of the artists during the year.

The Illustration course (AIH) encompasses many approaches to this discipline including children’s books, editorial, fashion illustration, character design, and graphic novels, and teaches students to build confident storytelling and drawing skills.

The Graphics course (AGH) encourages students to explore the spectrum of visual communication including branding, packaging, motion graphics, and art direction to create dynamic and exciting work, while both courses guide their students through building portfolios for industry and higher education alike.

The exhibition runs until the end of May.

Applications for all courses are on www.bcfe.ie
