FAI Football for All initiative kicks off with the help of James

LUCAN lad James Casserly (11) helped to launch the FAI Football for All strategy recently.

The strategy aims to make football inclusive for all, so that anyone who has a disability and wants to play football can.

James is no stranger to the football pitch, having walked out with the Republic of Ireland team as a mascot when they played the Aviva Stadium last March.

The young boy has cerebral palsy, which affects his lower limbs, an auto-immune condition, and juvenile arthritis, but he doesn’t let this hold him back from leading an active life.
