GARDAÍ are appealing for anyone with information to come forward regarding a late-night petrol bomb attack on a family in Clondalkin at the weekend.
A family with two young children were lucky to escape unharmed after their home in Kilcronan Court was attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The smoke alarm alerted the family to the trouble after the petrol bomb was thrown at the front of the house, and the family evacuated the premises.
A Garda spokesperson told The Echo: “There was fire damage at the front door and front window of the house. A car outside the property was also fire-damaged. The inside of the house was not damaged, and nobody was injured, apart from smoke inhalation.”
The incident occurred at approximately 4.30am on Saturday, October 3.
No arrests have yet been made and gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to call Clondalkin Garda Station at 6667600.
