Feral gangs intimidating community
In recent months, reports of anti-social behaviour and intimidation in some estates has been on the rise – as teenage gangs mindlessly target and vandalise schools, community centres, cars and homes.
In Fettercairn alone, St Anne’s Primary School has been targeted three times since October – damage which has cost the school, and indirectly the students, more than €12,000.
On Tuesday, members of the Fettercairn community, supported by Dublin South West TD Pat Rabbitte, local councillors and community Gardai, gathered in St Anne’s.
