Five car crash on N7 at Newlands Cross

A FIVE-VEHICLE road traffic collision occurred at Newlands Cross yesterday evening.

The crash happened at the N7 Naas Road outbound at around 5.30pm on Friday evening, November 5.

A Garda spokesperson told The Echo: “Five cars were involved in this collision. No injuries were reported as a result of this collision.”

Traffic was brought to a standstill in the area following the crash, and the road involved was completely closed while emergency services attended the scene. Gardaí have confirmed the road is now fully back open.

Emergency services dealt with the crash, with Dublin Fire Brigade tweeting afterwards: “We’ve just finished on scene at a five-vehicle collision on the N7 Naas Road outbound at Newlands Cross.

“The road was temporarily closed but lanes have now reopened. Thanks for your patience this evening.”
