Funds were raised between players, management and sponsors, with a number of local businesses helping out.

Cherry Orchard over 35s also contributed to the collection.

Within the money raised, the club bought over 100 presents for the children in the hospital and also picked up some OneForAll vouchers for teenagers.

The club visited every child in the Heart Centre, St John’s Cancer Ward, St Michael’s Ward and St Anne’s Ward, to hand out presents.

Thanking everyone who took part in the campaign, the club said they are looking forward to next year’s Anna Murray Memorial Ward Walk.
