THE Ford and Kia Motors showrooms on Airton Road in Tallaght have gone on the market with a guide price of €5m.

The premises is owned by the Fort Motor Group, trading as Airton Ford, Kia and Ford Commercials, and is one of the largest motor showrooms in the country.

The Airton Road premises is on the market with vacant possession, as the Fort Motor Group is now focusing on its Rathfarnham and Walkinstown locations.

Other aspects of the development, apart from the three showrooms, include three adjoining workshop buildings and up to 80 parking spaces for customers to the rear of the showrooms.

There is capacity for 45 vehicles to be on display in the showrooms, and 35 display spaces fronting Airton Road. There is car storage at basement level for up to 80 vehicles.

The property extends to a total floor area of approximately 3,772sq m, on a site of c.0.58 hectares (1.43 acres).

The sale of the property is being handled by estate agents Finnegan Menton, who view the premises as being an attractive prospect for both motor trade and alternative retail/warehouse use.
