Former Mountjoy Governor to give talk at Lucan College

The former Governor of Mountjoy Prison, John Lonergan, will give a talk tomorrow (November 7) at Lucan Community College starting at 7.30pm.

Mr Lonergan will speak on a range of topics including: “For this as parents we must not do"; the importance of praise; why we should not solve our children’s problems; communication; and protecting [children] from social media, etc.#

With plenty of humour and self-deprecation, Mr Lonergan shares our foibles and fears on the “demanding, challenging, responsible, complicated and never-ending” job of parenting.
