Free and fun-filled workshops for children this week
SEARCHING for a fun-filled activity for your child to enjoy on a dull July afternoon? Castletymon Library in Tallaght has the solution in the form of creative workshops to engage your little ones.
The first event entitled “Musical Tots Workshop” will commence at 10am on Tuesday, July 18 and accepts all music loving toddlers and young children aged 1–6 years.
Karen Donnellan will be teaching the class aimed at promoting rhyme and song, and it promises to be a fun, enjoyable event for all.
The second event is entitled “Colouring Workshop – Mindful Colouring” and it takes place on Wednesday, July 19 from 2.30pm – 4pm.
Joan Connolly is running this chilled out workshop for children aged 7–12 which introduces the concept of mindfulness through colouring.
These workshops are completely free of charge but booking in advance is required.
