From singing, tap-dancing to the Wall of Death adventures

KATHLEEN Gillespie recalled her high-octane exploits during her time as a variety performer in her youth, as she and her family and friends celebrated her 90th birthday last week.

She grew up in Crumlin and went to school in St Agnes’s, and later moved to Lough Conn Road in Ballyfermot where she raised her ten children and where she still resides.
