
Gardai arrest two males following €100k cocaine seizure

GARDAI arrested two males after drugs with an estimated value of up to €100,000 were seized in Drimnagh yesterday.
A car was stopped on Keeper Road at 3pm on Tuesday and an 18-year-old and 36-year-old male were arrested after cocaine with a street value of €100,000 was discovered following a search of the vehicle.

The seizure was part of ongoing operations targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Dublin 12 area.
According to a Garda statement released on Tuesday night: “An 18-year-old male and a 36-year-old male were arrested at the scene and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Sundrive Road Garda Station.”
