Gardai attend shooting incident in Tallaght

GARDAI are currently at the scene of a shooting incident that occurred just after mid-day today in the Cookstown area of Tallaght.

One man was rushed to Tallaght University Hospital and details are still currently unknown.

A garda statement this lunch time to The Echo said: “Gardaí are currently at the scene of an incident that occurred this afternoon, Friday 3rd December 2021 at approximately 12.10pm in the Cookstown area, Tallaght.

“One male, details currently unknown, has been taken to hospital with what is believed to be a gunshot wound.

“No further information is available at this time”.
