Gardai investigating armed raid in Tallaght yesterday afternoon

Gardai in Tallaght are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a betting shop in Killinarden yesterday afternoon.

A garda spokesperson confirmed to Echo.ie that at around 4:45pm two men, armed with handguns, entered the shop located in the Killinarden Shopping Centre.

The men demanded cash from the terrified staff and made off with an undisclosed sum of money.

Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Tallaght Garda Station on 01-666000
