Gardai issue witness appeal in relation to Ballyfermot assault

GARDAI investigating an alleged assault that occurred on the Ballyfermot Road at around 9.30pm on Thursday, December 30, are appealing for witnesses to come forward. 

According to a Garda appeal issued this evening, a female in her late teens was taken to St James Hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Investigating gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward, a Garda spokesperson said. 

Anyone who was in the area at the time with camera footage, including dash-cam, is also asked to make it available.

No arrests have been made at this stage of the investigation, gardai said.
