Guerin name suggested for flyover

THE NEWLANDS Cross Flyover, officially opened on Tuesday is already receiving name suggestions – with some calling for the road to be named after murdered journalist Veronica Guerin.
The suggestion to name the flyover after the reporter who was tragically murdered just a few yards from the area, came from a local resident who proposed the idea to Clondalkin councillor Breeda Bonner.
